Accommodation in Cambridge is often hard to find and can be expensive but Babraham, just six miles away, is a quiet, pretty village ideally placed to visit Cambridge. There is a good, regular bus service and the bus stop is a five minute walk. And Park & Ride with a bus to the city centre every 10 minutes is just two miles down the road.
The Granary makes an ideal holiday cottage for a short break in Cambridge but is also close to Newmarket racecourse (about 20 minutes drive) and 10 minutes from the M11, offering fast access to London in one direction or the Midlands and beyond in the other.
There are good train services to London from the nearby station of Whittlesford and from Cambridge. |
